      Awareness / Advocacy Program

Awareness / Advocacy Program ( Reduced inequalities (SDG 10) Good health and well-being(SDG 3), Peace, justice and strong institutions(SDG 16))- Awareness develops knowledge of you; what your strengths and weaknesses are as a player, coach, as a person and what motivates and drives you. It will allow you to focus on your strengths and develop strategies to improve your weaknesses.

      • Financial literacy: The National Centre for Financial Education in 2019 conducted a survey and said that only 27 per cent of Indians are financially literate. If children understand the concept of financial markets as per their age, this can prevent them from investing in wrong financial instruments later. When children are aware of the concept, they can influence their families by sharing the knowledge on the importance of savings and take necessary steps to better manage their money. Thus, spreading the concept of financial literacy and creating financial awareness among children can be a great help.
      • Cyber security: Those days have been gone when antivirus and firewalls software was your sole measure of security. Now, it is hard for anyone to save their private information to cybersecurity professionals. Because cyber threats can come from any time and from anywhere, it is important to teach your child about simple social engineering scams, like phishing and other security attacks like ransomware and other malware, which are designed for stealing personal data or intellectual property.  Almost every 3 in the five children have access to the internet, and they all have access to the internet, while spending around 45 hours online weekly and now in searching for the homework hacks online. So, since the internet is an inseparable part of childhood, it is better to take internet safety as an important consideration.
      • WASH: Living in a clean and safe environment is everyone's right. Access to clean water, Basic sanitation and good hygiene practices not only keep us healthy but also provide dignity of life. We are mainly focusing on personal hygiene, waste management and MHM.
      • Mental Health: Nearly 14% of India's population required active therapeutic interventions, states the National Mental Health Survey conducted by NIMHANS in 2016. As per the data, about 70% to 80% of persons in India struggling with mental illness receive no care. According to the survey, only one out of every ten people in India suffering mental health issues get evidence-based treatment.According to the World Health Organization, 5.6 crore Indians suffer from depression and 3.8 crore from anxiety disorders.
