Skill development is the most essential aspect of the development of our country. India has a huge 'demographic dividend' which means that it has a very high scope of providing skilled manpower to the labour market. As per the Global Skills Gap Report, the Indian workforce reported the highest skills gap after Brazil. Skill development has gained a lot of importance in today’s world. With the need to empower the youth, improve their job prospects, and also the economy of the country, skill development has become an essential aspect of education.
1.Skill Training: Literacy should not be restricted to education but should be broadened to the concept of skills, which comprises technical training, vocational skills, transferable skills, digital skills, and other prerequisites of employment and livelihood.
2.Industrial Training: Industrial training is a doorway for those who are willing to achieve their professional goals by allowing them to handson experience of what they learn theoretically and also will help them to gain experience in the work environment, job execution and opportunities in particular industry.
